Circumcision Shang Ring

The Shangring, is novel disposable device for male circumcision. It is simple, small and easy to use, providing sutureless circumcision that is a safe, cost-effective and acceptable alternation to current male circumcision(MC) surgical techniques. Shangring also is the first device to standardize circumcision surgery. ShangRing device unique desgin

1. Collar-shaped design clamped with two self-locking ratchets

Collar-shaped structure of the outer ring clamped with two self-locking ratchets can ensure better view for the physicians to perform the circumcision. Cascade ratchet enables free adjustment and precise removal of the foreskin during surgery as well as intact frenulum.

2. Silicon rubber cushion over the inner ring

Silicon rubber cushion applied over the inner ring can ensure tight clamp of the foreskin by uniform force without wound exposure, which may make easy wound cleaning and prevent the wound from infection, leading to early recovery.

3. Projections ventrally lined along the outer rings

Projections ventrally arranged at the outer rings can prevent dislocation, yet tight clamp of the ShangRing device. Apart from that, the projections can ensure space for the flow of interstitial fluid to prevent postoperative edema and related complications.

FAQ

Q: How to choose correct size of ShangRing?

A: 1.To measure the correct size of the ring, the measuring tape is wound around the shaft of the penis (just behind the glans) to determine the appropriate size of the ShangRing.

2. The size of the ring is observed through an elliptical window on the tape.

3. Take care not to make the tape too tight or too loose.

4. To consult the patient prepuce condition, age, profession,erection frequency.

5. If who works on physical labor, soldier or other sports exercise; the young, whose foreskin with good resilience; frequent erections and those with chronic inflammation history resulting in a thicker foreskin, all above cases,one size bigger is suggested.

7. If the children and the elderly have no erection cases, if the size is between two size, the smaller size is considered.

8. For the fatter ones, if the size is between two size, the smaller size is considered.

9. The size should be adjusted with the balanus size.
